Narrative description of Project:

Feasibility of separation of Greater Kailash, Deer Park and Malviya Nagar UGR/BPS Command Area and Hydraulic Modeling of Deer Park UGR Command Area. Identifying hydraulic issues in the water supply system of the area, suggesting solution framework and implementation strategy.

Scope of Services: 

• Establishment of Baseline Conditions through detailed study of existing GIS data and reports, information from local DJB offices, past study reports and evaluation of present water supply system.
• Demand Projection and setting up design basis. The designs shall be in compliance with the relevant Indian Standards and CPHEEO manual. Wherever such standards are not available, appropriate standards shall be followed after discussions with the Delhi Jal Board.
• Review of available GIS data provided for site topographical survey, base map, consumer and network data.  Raising the requirement of Topographical Survey, if required, carry out Survey within the command area and preparation/updation of base map and network plan.  The consultants shall also look at aspects like optimal / effective utilization of the existing infrastructure with a view to minimize the project cost, Prepare network plan / model with initial DMA planning using the updated information available & analysis of network model using Water GEMS/Water CAD software program from the tasks above and the proposed strengthening measures through optimization and analysis of the model. Water GEMS license available with DJB can be utilized for same purpose if required.
• Flow and Pressure measurement as and when required for establishment and/or improvement of DMAs.  Suggest necessary modification in DMA plan of the area as per JICA report.  , Social survey of the area comprising of no. of properties, floors in each property, population of each house, status of water connection (exist, authorized or unauthorized), and use of ground water, Prepare Estimates and Bill of Quantities based on DSR/Planning Notifications and rates and Detailed Project Report
