Drinking Water

Drinking Water is essential for life. The amount of drinking water required is variable. It depends on physical activity, age, health issues, and environmental conditions.  It is estimated that the average American drinks about one litre of water a day with 95% drinking less than three litres per day.  For those working in a hot climate, up to 16 liters a day may be required. Water makes up about 60% of weight in men and 55% of weight in women. Infants are about 70% to 80% water while the elderly are around 45%.

The safety and accessibility of drinking-water are major concerns throughout the world. Health risks may arise from consumption of water contaminated with infectious agents, toxic chemicals, and radiological hazards

Waste Water Treatment

Wastewater treatment is a process used to convert wastewater – which is water no longer needed or suitable for its most recent use – into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with minimal environmental issues or reused.

Wastewater is full of contaminants including bacteria, chemicals and other toxins. Its treatment aims at reducing the contaminants to acceptable levels to make the water safe for discharge back into the environment.

Our services for this sector are divided into following categories :-

  1. Drainage
  2. Sewerage System
  3. Rehabilitation of STP

Infrastructure Planning and Design

Infrastructure planning and design (IPD) shapes the built environment of regional, urban and industrial scale projects with focus on sustainability. Our expertise stems from our multi-disciplinary team integrating urban planning, design and infrastructure to ensure balance between environment, community and development. Our work provides the foundation for successful project implementation by developing strategic frameworks for growth. Integration of disciplines and systems is our forte.

Infrastructure Planning & Design creates a platform for the assimilation of planning initiatives with hardcore engineering. The aim of the IPD team is to provide innovative and sustainable planning solutions through integration of contemporary planning concepts and cutting-edge technology delivered by our multi-disciplinary team.

Transportation

Delivering an appropriate and sustainable transportation network for the 21st century is an exciting challenge.  Making transport work, however, must not be at the cost of the environment and we are focusing our efforts on the role planners, engineers and consultants have to play in order to respond to the challenges, changes and opportunities of a carbon critical economy. By considering carbon critical design and operations at the outset we can help shape policy, improve forecasting and ensure the right investment choices are made.

Successful transport strategies examine the journeys that people need to make in all aspects of their lives and provide realistic travel options. The services that we provide to our clients range from strategic policy advice and performance management, through all aspects of demand forecasting, behavioural analysis, to accessibility, transport for land development, streetscapes and traffic engineering design.
